 Absolutely no better fishing magazine!

In my view there has never been a more well written fishing publication. As a primarily southern bass and bluegill fisherman, I have never fished for many of the species featured but the articles are well written and certainly peak my interest. Your magazine is particularly valuable to me as I am not really interested in guns or hunting and many of the other publications seem to focus their energies on that area. Your sole focus on freshwater fishing and attendant issues is highly important to me. Thank you for a well written magazine and keep up the good efforts.
 Great articles But the magazine has shrunk in amount of Information.

Although the great articles are still there. It seem to due to cost cutting and changes in economy has changed alot.About fifteen years ago I used to buy your magazine religiously and especially special issues. When I recieved my first subscription I was surprised and a little disappointed. It used to take me a week or two to read your magazine cover to cover but know we're talking days.Like I said the artical are still very informational and very good don't get me wrong just one of the things I like though your subscription came every two months instead of every month like others you got two month of information. When I got the magazine this time it was like where is the rest of the magzine.
Also on idea on a ongoing article go state by state and tell the fisherman where they can fish. State lakes , private clubs and possibly pay lake where people can go. Also where it is possible for disabled and seniors can go. Some of us seniors and diabled don't have boats or can fish from them and any more it kills me that most of the lakes around my area in Illinois either you have to have a boat or you have to walk a mile to get to the water. Any help would be appreciated'

I have been fishing since the age of 5years old. My father used to purchase this magazine, and I loved to sneak and read it. I am 50 years old now, and still love to fish. My Dad gave me a boat, and I'm looking for a fish finder for it.

Your magazine is well laid out withboth interesting topics and beautiful pictures. Really good stuff
Please help some of us new anglers out with more ratings of equipment. I know this is hard because you don't want to alienate sponsors.

The magazine has gone downhill since the Lindner brothers sold the company. Waaaay to much advertising and not enough content. Over 60% of the publication's pages are ads! Stories seem to be too repetitive from year-to-year (I've been subscribing since the 80's). Although Doug Stange has a wealth of knowledge his writing skills are lacking and needs better proof-reading.

I fished long ago but remember most of what I learned and now have more time to devote to it.. Now that my son is growen up and has bought a Bass boat for us to share I felt it was time to give him what I learned and how I learned it. For me there was very little choice as to the magazine that he needed to become a more succesfull fisherman. Now we not only share the time, the boat but we share the magazine too! The magazine is a lot more than Bill and I went fishing stuff. It shares the how's, the why's, the where's and the what's needed to read the water, the presetation and do's and do not's fo the sport. Thanks In Fisherman to help another generation to the sport!
