Adequate for Educational Purposes
A review of The Economist Magazine, November 17, 2008

While I think the content is suitable for my classroom needs, I tend to find the articles rather one sided. I believe in giving students both perspectives of the coin, and don't feel this magazine really does that. But the articles are well written, and have enough content to assist in explaining econoic theory.

The Economist covers so many different economic issues. It covers both very specific domestic issues as well as broad worldwide topics, giving both my husband and I a variety of articles to choose from. We switched from Time Magazine to The Economist. We're glad we did.

Some wonderful information about world affairs and economic conditions, but tends toward a condescending view of the United States, especially toward the conservative segment of our nation.  Rather disappointing in this respect.
