Great for the RV camper A review of Camping Life Magazine, February 9, 2010 Submitted by: K from Roseburg, OR
I didn't realize that this magazine was grear toward the RV camper. I am a tent camper and often don't use campgrounds or public camping areas. It was hard to tell from the description what type of camping that was discussed. I have gotten my first issue and was a bit disappointed because it wasn't about the type of camping I enjoy. I am sure it would get great for people who like to do RV of campground camping.

It is very informative on camping areas and information.

This is the thinest magazine. A review of Camping Life Magazine, January 28, 2010 Submitted by: Rochelle from Clarksville, AR
This magazine is very thin. It doesn't have very many pages. Reminds me of the free magazines sent out by bluecross and electric coop.

I like the magazine because it inspires me to prep for summer camping. There are so few magazines dedicated to this. Wish it was thicker . I look forward to more issues. It is like a mini escape.

Few articals, lots of ads. A review of Camping Life Magazine, January 7, 2010 Submitted by: B from Kirtland, OH
I felt the few stories that were in the book were ok. But to many ads. This is not what I expected. I was not real impressed. Hope future magazines are better.

Advertisement Magazine for Camping A review of Camping Life Magazine, November 11, 2009 Submitted by: lmmurp2
Not much content about camping locales as thought it would be. Lots of ads. Most articles are "reviews" of new equipment - meaning a description, price & where to get it.

Not what I expected A review of Camping Life Magazine, November 10, 2009 Submitted by: laser
Pros: good place to find out about new gear
Cons: did not provide a lot of great ideas for places to go

Not what I expected in a camping magazine. A review of Camping Life Magazine, November 10, 2009 Submitted by: loves to camp
Too many ads, not enough information about fun places to camp.

A review of Camping Life Magazine, June 30, 2009 Submitted by: MaryB:)
The best thing about this magazine are the consumer tests. They give me a good idea as to which camping equipment will suit me and my family. I'd like to see more about good locations to go with kids that are fun and inexpensive as well as beautiful.

Not worth it A review of Camping Life Magazine, May 8, 2009 Submitted by: Sir Campalot
As much as I wish there was a good camping magazine available, this one isn't it. It's published by the same folks who put out Trailer Life and that magazine is a rag. Too many advertisements and not enough enjoyable content. I can view ads online for free. Why should I pay a subscription fee to see nothing but ads? It's really a shame.

I work at a campground during the summer. I always enjoying reading about new things and topics concerning camping.

Too many ads A review of Camping Life Magazine, March 3, 2009 Submitted by: klous
In my opinion, this magazine is mostly advertisements. I have only received one issue, but I was hoping for recipes, helpful hints, etc. Instead, I saw reviews of different models of campers. Not at all what I was hoping for.

This is an average magazine, but unfair to judge it on just one issue. A review of Camping Life Magazine, February 17, 2009 Submitted by: Long time camper. from Burlington, NC
This is an average magazine, not many pages (50). This was the RV Buyer's Guide issue. The typical magazine may have more articles. It does have a large amount of advertising inclosed in the magazine. After the first issue I am not too excited about the magazine, but it is far from being a waste of time. It does not meet the level of a $15 year periodical, more like a $6 one due to it's limited amount of information that is included in the magazine.
