A review of National Geographic Kids, January 6, 2009

My son loves reading this magazine because it includes relevant and interesting information about the world with everything from animals to technology.  I love it because I know it is helping him to develop reading skills.  I would like more text and articles, but I am overall very happy with the publication.

I am a mom to a 6-year old girl & a 5-year old boy...they love to read & even better they LOVE animals! They can't get enough of their National Geographic for Kids Magazine!

I think that it is very informative and my students love the magazine.

This national geographic did not entertain me very much, but it wasn't bad, there's just better ones out there.

    Although I do keep it, because I might do a class project on one of the animals in the national geographic.

My son is 6 years old just learning to read.  He will sit down for hours when this magazine comes in and read it, sounding out the words reading it over and over  (What we fight with him to do with his school work ) till he gets all the words right and knows what the article is talking about.  He then takes the magazine to school to show his friends.
