Incredibly Disappointing A review of Wizard Magazine, November 10, 2009 Submitted by: jimfred82 from Lincoln, NE
I grew up reading Wizard, and loved it. The articles were funny, the letters page was hilarious, the information was great, and the price guide was thorough. After not getting it for about ten years and then signing up again recently, I am very disappointed in that NOTHING is how it was. Instead of a normal magazine with stories, it is a list of 50 seemingly-random things each month, of which very few are entertaining. Not only that, but where is the price guide? The last issue didn't even have one! I'm very frustrated with this magazine, because it feels like I'm paying for crap, and I was expecting greatness. Oh well, live and learn I guess!

awesome mag A review of Wizard Magazine, November 2, 2009 Submitted by: zeroman from philadelphia, pa

Used to be better A review of Wizard Magazine, May 21, 2009 Submitted by: drkegg
Wizard is a good magazine for those who are interested in comic news and comic-related merchandise. However, as a price guide, this magazine has become to lack the content it used to have around 5-10 years ago. As time has progressed, the magazine has gone from a pure price guide to a minimally encompassing one. It has morphed to a magazine that details upcoming comic storylines and merchandise and this type of content takes up 95% of the magazine. Actual guide is approximately 4 pages and doesn't encompass all issues anymore.

Great info, articles and pictures A review of Wizard Magazine, December 13, 2007 Submitted by: CB from West Palm Beach, FL
Wizzard is full of great info all about comics, toys, movies, TV, books and just about anything else you might find in your local comic shop. One complaint, they seem to focus more on marvel than DC. I usually read mine cover to cover, and cant wait for the next to arrive.

Wizard is a magazine that comes in handy for comic book collectors. With news, reviews, previews, deals, and monthly updated comic grading guides, anyone that has the slightest interest in comics will find this a very entertaining magazine.

I purchased this for my husband and it is the only magazine he reads cover-to-cover! A review of Wizard Magazine, December 10, 2007 Submitted by: wolfhead from Salida, CA
My husband loves to stay up to date on the comics universe and Wizard fits the bill! He is constantly telling me of the new things he learns about and the articles he reads. This is the only magazine subscription he wants to keep.

Best comic mag A review of Wizard Magazine, December 10, 2007 Submitted by: Mr. A
I've been a reader for years and really enjoy this magazine. As someone who grew up only reading the "Big Two" DC and Marvel, Wizard opened my eyes to books like the Goon, Hellboy, the new Conan series and others. A must read for any true comic fan.

Comic Lover Alert A review of Wizard Magazine, December 8, 2007 Submitted by: JDOGG from Park Hills, MO
This magazine for comic lovers, if you like comic's this magazine is for you. Personally, I think this magazine is boring. That is just because I am not a strong comic lover. It also has a little bit of news of TV shows, games, toys, etc. Overall this magazine is just okay to me.

Wizard, more magical than Merlin. A review of Wizard Magazine, December 7, 2007 Submitted by: nicco from pasadena, tx
I've been an avide collector of comics for twenty years and Wizard as far back as I can remember has been the best publication, for facts, pricing, what actor would play what charactor in a movie; I would like to see the return of the collector cards that I used to receive. But other than that I would recomend Wizard to any collector or people into action figures or just to see upcoming comic movies. A member for life.

The best gift I ever gave! A review of Wizard Magazine, August 22, 2007 Submitted by: Brian's Girl from Houston, TX
My husband is a serious fanboy. I gave him a subscription to Wizard, for Christmas, and he loves it. He said it was the most thoughtful gift he has ever received. He loves getting his Wizard Magazine every month, before anyone else does at the comic shops.

Comic enthusiasts will LOVE this magazine! A review of Wizard Magazine, August 21, 2007 Submitted by: silverangel767
I gave a subscription of Wizard to my boyfriend as a Christmas present and he absolutely loves it! He anxiously waits for its arrival each month, checking the mail and wondering out loud when it's going to come. When it does come he immediately sits down and reads it from cover to cover. Over the next month he reads it again and again until that new issue arrives. It's like Christmas every month for him. A major plus about Wizard is that it is a large magazine with many articles. It covers new movies, TV shows, books, strange/unknown facts, and much more. If you enjoy graphic novels and super heroes then Wizard is definetely for you!

Most informative magazine!!! A review of Wizard Magazine, August 21, 2007 Submitted by: Nita
My husband told me that when you want to know about a certain movie, especially ones that deal with a comic book, it is the most informative magazine out there. He loves to receive Wizard as a gift. I will continue to renew the gift subscription for him. Thanks

good comic review A review of Wizard Magazine, July 12, 2007 Submitted by: Freeze from Belleville, NJ
This is probably the only honest and unbiased comic review mag out there. The only reason I didnt rate it higher is that I dont feel their listings of valuable comics is always the most accurate.
