When my issue of American Artist arrives...my day is a little bit brighter.  I look forward to reading the well written articles and seeing the inspiring works and bios of other artists.  American Artist Magazine has its finger on the pulse of current art and artist's today.  Thank you for providing a professional and educational publication for artists of all levels.

I enjoy many of the articles in the magazine. Readers are treated to a study of art history and the art and artists of today.  The color printing is great.   While all media and styles are covered, I hope to see more sculpture.

While a good source of technical information, American Artist features practitioners of wildly varying quality.  For every Ben Aronson, Mark Karnes and Ephraim Rubenstein, there are dozens of "artists" included who would barely make the rank of Sunday Painter in the world of serious figurative art.

This is my oldtime favorite informative artist mag.

Even though this is a new subscription this year, many years ago I first started receiving myAmerican Artist magazine and loved it then as I do now.  It's so beautiful.  As an artist, I enjoy reading about different techniques in painting and observation and styles.  The pictures of art work are great.   I like to read the helpful hints for drawing and painting.  I look forward to every copy.  Thank you.
