Best overall magazine for serious cyclists who follow competition and technical developments

Fun, informative, useful.  The publication and accompanying web site broadly and adeptly cover major aspects of competitive cycling, including bikes, other gear, fitness and nutrition, social, political  and legal issues, and personalities.  This is done with clear viewpoints and added value, as well as information.  Good use of interesting photos.  VN goes well beyond the standard trade magazine gamut of glossy new product presentations and recycled how-to features, and has established editorial credibility  for  good journalism in the cycling community.  Writing is generally clear and/or properly edited, which is a touchstone of overall quality too often negelcted today.  Effective use of interview videos on the web site is a plus.

Great stories, interviews and photographs of both domestic and international  road bicycle racing. Includes some women's racing and Mt. bike racing coverage. I have had some of my photograhy printed in the magazine, so I am somewhat biased.
