I prefer Popular Photography over American Photo, although I only received 2 issuses of AP at this point in time. Maybe because of my skill level isn't advanced enough, but AP is too "artsy" for my taste. Some of the articles are also too advanced for me to understand completely.

This magazine is what I'd hoped for. It certainly brings me up to date. It provides the most current information, where photography is going, and it gives me a great review of what I've missed, as well as tips on how to get where I want to be.
Good articles. Timely. Informative.

for cameras and cute accessories, however you will find articles on what is what and who is who in the world of fine arts photography
and photojournalism
