Great way to celebrate children's curiosity! A review of Ranger Rick Jr. Magazine, November 4, 2007 Submitted by: Aunt Ginny from Te
Time and Knowledge March On
As my now-grown neice and nephew have their families, and even though I don't see them often, I can be a part of their children's development and prompt their interest in the world around them by gifting them with the treasure of "their own" magazine. What fun to know that the mail carrier will place something in the mail box addressed to the little ones and that they will enjoy retrieving it and having it as their very own to look at and have read to them. Then, use what they have heard and seen from the text to explore and define their own out-of-doors surroundings. And I don't need to worry about the gift fitting just right or it being something they already have... They will appreciate and learn from their own magazine.

I Like "Your Big Backyard" Magazine A review of Ranger Rick Jr. Magazine, October 10, 2007 Submitted by: T-Bone from MIDLOTHIAN, VA
Sometimes turtles come in my yard and sometimes deer come in my yard. We have many spiderwebs. I'm glad my spiders eat bugs. I don't like tarantellas, but I like looking at pictures of them in books. My yard is full of adventure. I have bamboo in my woods by a tree, and I have a fort, and I have prickly bushes in my yard.
I like the maze in "Your Backyard" magazine, and my Gran and I made the craft of the tadpole that turns into a frog.
My name is Trevor Killorn. I am 5 years old, and I live in Midlothian, VA.

This is my choice for a young boy. A review of Ranger Rick Jr. Magazine, September 18, 2007 Submitted by: Grannie from Inglis, Fl
I got this magazine for my great grandson who lives over 1600 miles form us. I have had no complaints or comments to the contrary about the magazine. He seems to like it very much. He is 5 now so I might get another magazine for him next year when he will be 6.

A great beginning A review of Ranger Rick Jr. Magazine, August 21, 2007 Submitted by: Judy
This was the first magazine I subscribed for my daughter. We enjoyed all the pictures together and it was a great reading tool. The magazine also delivers a great message about the living things around us. I now order for my grandchildren. PS Save the magazines for future school projects ( the picures can't be beat).

We ordered this magazine for our four year old son and have been so pleased with our decision. He looks forward to seeing what surprises lay inside each month. We read Your Big Backyard from cover to cover again and again.
