"Average motorcycle magazine".
I am not discouraged by one issue of this magazine. It is not what I thought it would be but did contain some interesting articles. I am waiting to see what the future of this magazine will show me. I hate to pass a harsh judgement based on just one issue.

I ride a cruiser, and I was hoping for more articles involving them. If you ride a rocket you'll love it, but I was hoping for more balance.

This is the best all round (general) motorcycle magazine I have read. If you are looking for near exclussive coverage a specific brand (HD) or and specific type of bike (chopper, cafe race, etc), there are better choices; however, if you love modern two wheeled machines as well as some from the past, this is your best choice.

I have re-entered the motorcycle-riding world after a 32-year absence. I've found "Motorcyclist" magazine to be an excellent source for impartial reviews of new motorcycle models, equipment and supplies, retailers (online and brick-and-mortar) and, very importantly, a source for motorcycle-safety tips. I also enjoy reading about the various road trips and field trips conducted by the writing staff. The letters to the editor offer some useful input from the road. I'm feeling a lot more comfortable about getting on that bike again.
