For a landlubber like myself it is refreshing to see the great challenges which surfers face
as they go about their exciting life. "Surfer" presents wonderful photographs of the endless
power and beauty of the ocean, and the exploits of those on surfboards remind us to live life
as fully as possible.

I have always been a big fan of SURFER magazine since I was a little kid owning a subscription for many years. Wondering where all these perfect waves were in the world that that I often dreamed of. I had just recently renewed my subscription since I have been traveling the world surifng for the past 5 years and now had a chance to reflect. I give credit to SURFER magazine and countless surf videos, endless summer two being my favorite for inspiring my travels. Surfer magazine has been with me on all of my plane trips which have been very long when traveling to OZ. Always picking one up at the news stand at the airport for alot more but it was worth it. I have traveled all over the world yet, still have many places I want to go. It has been the best feeling in the world however to open up your magazine and finally know where some of these waves were and remote spots that looked so good. I have read many articles over the years but I have to admit that it has always been the pictures that keeps me subscribing over the years. I look forward now to SURFER magazine keeping me in the action in waveless east coast. Helping me plan my next trip around the world depending on where your magazine says I should or should not go next. Thank you again for all the great work, you guys have some of the best jobs in the world. So ya SURFER magazine is awsome!!!

I began surfing in 1950 and belonged to the first women surfing association in Calif. I surfed with Gale Yarbrough and 5 other girls in those days. I'm an old one and just wanted to say I think your magazine is the best. My entire family surfs, including my grandchildren who started at age 4. Thank you for keeping the surfing world positive.
This magazine keeps me connected to my passion!!!

I've gone through other surf mag.'s and there's no comparsion. Surfer has the best articles about local and international guys and the incredible spots around the world that I yearn for. If the surf is unrideable here in North County San Diego I just pick up any Surfer that I have laying all around the house and dream on!!!
Photography, human interest stories, and even the ads are hot.
Thanks for making life a little bit easier.
