For anyone who is a railfan, either long-term or just getting interested, TRAINS is the best to start with and stay with. The information is always well researched and timely. If anyone has not tried it, they are missing out on a great resource.

This is probably the best overall Trains magazine out there for the rail fan and also the railroader. Good industry information and good thoughtful stories. I've read this magazine for over 30 years.
