 Eye-opening new artists

When someone lives in the "provinces"--that is, outside of the New York or California art markets, it can be tricky to keep up with new artists and fresh ideas. Modern Painters takes care of this ignorance by giving emerging talents good exposure. The magazine format provides space and size needed for excellent visualization.

There is too much gallery and exhibit advertising and not enough information on various painters.
This is an incredible magazine.

Modern Painters is a breath of fresh air,finally a magazine with the adult art enthusiast in mind. Its' piece on Tim Burton was more pungent a taste than I'd expected, but very pleasurable.
