Field and stream covers most hunting, fishing and camping interests without with down to earth writing and columns without being too basic or too advanced for the weekend hunter or angler.  The product reviews are concise and stick to those products most likely to be affordable and usable to the average enthusiast.

At least one really good article per issue/  has to have a different slant than what we are used to reading.
