A review of HamptonRoads Magazine, July 26, 2012 Submitted by: mar from pgh, pa It was ok. I got it because I plan to vacation on Virginia Beach this fall. This is a very interesting magazine. A review of HamptonRoads Magazine, February 8, 2011 Submitted by: Jackie This magazine has lots of information about the Hampton Roads area. The last issue that I received had a great part on restaurants in the area. I could read reviews of the various restaurants and the type of cuisine that I could find there. I was very disappointed in the magazine. I receive North Carolina magazine monthly and it is full of wonderful stories about people that are interesting or have contributed to their communities. I think the publisher would learn alot by looking at other magazines like Reminise or NC magazine. It would be far more interesting to see pics of the area long ago than all the ads published.
