5 Star ReviewGreat Magazine

I just LOVED the one issue I received of this magazine and would subscribe to it in the future.  It was PACKED with neat ideas to enhance the do-it-yourself lifestyle!

there's some good things in here that is interesting to make, but for the most part this is kind of a hippy magazine that tells you how to make weird things out of recycled objects.

1 Star ReviewNot-So-Cool Projects Disappoint
A review of ReadyMade Magazine, April 5, 2011
Submitted by: Mrs. Mac

Although I looked forward to receiving my subscription of ReadyMade with great delight, my disappointment was instantaneous. Instead of the clever "make-cool-things-out-of-recycled-urban-detritus" tome I'd expected it to be, ReadyMade proved to be collections of not-so-cool (my opinion) projects. Even worse, the photographs fail to reveal the entire project so the reader could tell how all the parts actually go together. For instance, a table of blocks shows only a fraction of the table top and none of the base, and a chandelier made of old light bulbs shows only the artfully dangling bulbs but nothing of its top base. Many of the projects directed the reader to on-line sites for further details which were either offerred free or at a cost :-( I'm sure there's an audience for this magazine, but I'm not part of it. I'll stick with MAKE.

5 Star ReviewReady Made Mag

I have subs to a ton (& I mean a ton) of different magazines! This is by far one of the favorites. I especially love the step by step do it yourself wood working projects. I hope to complete a few of them in the near future. Keep up the good work on such an awesome magazine!!

5 Star ReviewFor Crafty, Thrifty, Forward-Thinking People
A review of ReadyMade Magazine, June 8, 2010

I love Ready Made!  This mag. features ideas for how to reduce, reuse, recycle, re-invent, and re-purpose in the context of what you might find in a traditional home and garden magazine.  In other words, there are ideas for redecorating, but the twist is that the decor comes from materials that might otherwise be overlooked.  Wine crates become hip kitchen cabinets. A pile of rocks and some livestock panels are fashioned into a wonderful barbeque pit.

Did I mention that the recipes are fabulous?  Everything from spicy chocolate ice cream to salsas to baked trout are included.

This is the ONLY magazine I get that is consistently GREAT every month!
