I really like the magazine.  I am bilingual and I enjoyed the articles.  I was a little disappointed though as I would like to have passed the magazine on to my favorite doctor's urgent care bilingual clinic but the cover photo as well as a lot of the photos in the magazine are immodest and he doesn't have anything like that in his office.   The cover photo on the question now and the magazines that I saw prior to purchasing were lovely pictures, no cleavage, etc.

I hate how sex has to sell everything - including the question to the chefs in the June issue: "un platillo sexy para una noche romantica"? - Couldn't it just be a dish for a romantic evening not "sexy".

I get this magazine for my Heritage Spanish class. It is always borrowed the day it arrives, and is pretty dog-eared within a week or so. If your goal is to get kids reading for pleasure, it is a much better classroom choice than "Selecciones" (Readers' Digest in Spanish, which the kids find utterly dorky and uninteresting). Plus it is actually in Spanish, unlike "Latina" magazine.
