Excellent Business Magazine A review of BusinessWeek Magazine, March 10, 2008 Submitted by: tanzalone
I've been a subscriber for many years and I find BW to be informative, current and well written.

New format accompanied by downgrade of former quality A review of BusinessWeek Magazine, February 8, 2008 Submitted by: KDoh from NYC, NY
This used to be a solid informative business publication. However, coincident with its new format, the quality seems to have suffered enormously. In addition, there appears to have been a new slant toward sensationalism that I do not associate with past issues. For example, a recent cover screams "Meltdown: For Housing, The Worst is Yet to Come". The quality of the accompanying article is not up-to-par with past articles. For instance, it uses a quote about "macaroni and cheese" that makes little sense. Mac & cheese may be boring if you eat it every night but the quote instead argues that it somehow "doesn't leave room for anything else." Happily, the newly formatted BW leaves plenty of room for top flight business journalism like that found in the Economist, the Wall Street Journal, and others.

excellent business magazine A review of BusinessWeek Magazine, December 17, 2007 Submitted by: groaner from paterson, nj
As a weekly, Businessweek is timely -- unlike Fortune where I have often read the admittedly well-written stories two or three times before they make it into Fortune's pages.
Businessweek takes a critical view of business and its role in society, often warning about the dangers of growing income gaps, for instance.
But the magazine is often uncritical of business leaders, praising them one year and blaming them for company failures the next -- part of the media's tendency to lionize individuals as the expense of better analysis. But it's my favorite end of week reading.

Business Week comment A review of BusinessWeek Magazine, December 14, 2007 Submitted by: William from Shreveport, LA
In the recently revised format, I recommend resumption of weekly (multiple) articles on governmental policy and legislation.

Business Week changes not good A review of BusinessWeek Magazine, December 10, 2007 Submitted by: SP
The new BW format is not to my liking. I think it looks like one big advertisement, rather than articles. I don't plan to renew.

Not a good business magazine. It's very basic, not enough substance in the articles.

Why I continue to renew Business Week Magazine A review of BusinessWeek Magazine, July 19, 2007 Submitted by: m-tee from Denver, CO
I have read Business Week since my junior year in college or approximately 42 years. Most of the time I have renewed through Student Magazines. I have subscribe to other business publication. I find Business Week removes the sensationalism of the daily publications and helps me keep trends in business in perspectives. I also enjoy how Business Weeks integrates current events with the effect on business. I generally disagree with pointed editorials. If you are looking for a comprehensive business oriented magazine, you probably won't find a better choice.

Great Business Magazine A review of BusinessWeek Magazine, July 12, 2007 Submitted by: Berkeley Engineer
This is a great magazine, I have subscribed to it since my junior year in high school. There is a good blend of economics, politics and straight up business news. While the Wall Street Journal is great if you want every nitty gritty detail Business Week does a great job of finding the most relevant information and presenting it is a logical fashion.
