This national geographic did not entertain me very much, but it wasn't bad, there's just better ones out there.

     This national geographic did not entertain me very much, but it wasn't bad, there's just better ones out there.

    Although I do keep it, because I might do a class project on one of the animals in the national geographic.

My son is 6 years old just learning to read.  He will sit down for hours when this magazine comes in and read it, sounding out the words reading it over and over  (What we fight with him to do with his school work ) till he gets all the words right and knows what the article is talking about.  He then takes the magazine to school to show his friends.

The kids love it!

My son enjoys the pictures and infor when read to him.

However, I never feel his need or desire to get back to the magazing after we iinitially went through it, it become more like a brochure to browse throu nothing else. I would have like to see maybe some stories or fable about a featured animal? Just an idea?!

I do save the magazines to use them as a resource for school when the day will come and my son would need facts and info about the animal kingdom.
