This magazine has opened my eyes, mind, and given me new knowledge on how and why my Quaker Parrot's Attitude changed from the time I purchased him about 15 months ago to now.  I learned I needed to go back to how I treated him with time and attention like when I first brought him home!

Our family has thoroughly enjoyed the magazine for bird lovers, and we have acquired new birds from learning about the species.  Your cover bird stories are so well done, and the "centerfolds" are beautiful.

It has increased our love for exotic birds and made our new hobby more enjoyable.

I totally enjoyed this magazine and learned an awful lot about my cockatiels-they had been given to me so I didn't have the slightest idea how to interact with them, etc.  This magazine helped tremendously.

1 Star ReviewMisled title
A review of Bird Talk Magazine, September 2, 2008

When I was given the opportunity to receive a free magazine for a year I was not too keen on the others available so I went with the Bird Talk magazine. I presumed it was about all the many birds that "talk" in my yard everyday. Instead, it was only about parakeets and the magazine did nothing to interest me. Sadly, I take it to work and leave it on the table for anyone interested. If your offering something, offer something that would appeal to a larger group of people.

Bird Talk is an excellent magazine. Where else can you get recipes for  bird food, awesome training tips, health information, and a psychological look at your feathered friends! There is always a beautiful centerfold poster of a bird in each issue. You will read Bird Talk from cover-to-cover!

It says “welcome” with the diversity of articles. There is always something for everyone, whether the seasoned bird owner or the new parront.

While many enjoy the colorful photos, others enjoy the vast selection of entertaining writings offered in the magazine.

The up to date listings of events is another boon as is the section on finding that perfect bird in the breeder columns.

How can one not benefit from reading Bird Talk?

5 Star ReviewIf you have a bird you need to subscribe to this magazine!
A review of Bird Talk Magazine, August 20, 2007
Submitted by: str8gone from Cincinnati, OH

This magazine is very well put together and touches on a variety of subjects that everyone can relate to. Whether you own a single bird or call a small flock "family" this magazine is for you. Ever wonder why your bird is sometimes 'nippy" and other times lovable? Why they sometimes scream for no apparent reason while other times they are as quiet as a church mouse? (The reasons may surprise you) Bird Talk magazine explains some of the whys behind these stressful and often times painful problems. This information often comes from Avian vets and bird behaviorial consultants. There are articles and stories from regular people like you and me who write in to tell thier stories of love and laughter while living with a winged companion. There are also articles on exotic birds in the wild and what is being done to help bolster their declining numbers. As well as articles talking about common diseases in the avian species and what we can do to help prevent/treat them. I have found Bird Talk magazine to be an invaluable resource for information on taking care of my pet birds. For all the joy and love they bring into your life you owe it to them to make their life as happy and enjoyable as it can be.

I like bird talk magazine because it helps me raise my bird to be  happier and to know what is going on with her. I also enjoy seeing all the other birds and comparing mine to others. In the magazine they give you many good ideas such as getting your bird to do certain tricks and I have taught my bird some of the tricks using their method. I also like how they help you to understand your bird is like all the others. The best part is where people draw their bird and enjoy that too. It is a just an all around good magazine to have and enjoy
