Being an Avid deer hunter I really enjoy the articles, with lots of good tactics to use in the field,and I am looking forward to writing my own article after this years hunt.

I always enjoy reading this great magazine including hunting buffalo  on the Crow reservation in the July, 08 issue.  However, you should curb your writer's BS level in his closing.  George A Custer killed buffalo as part of the US Army policy of eliminating food source for recalcitrant tribes.  He may also have enjoyed hunting just like the author but neither of them presumably hunts to prove his manhood as suggested.

Very informative about all hunting, not just one species!

I think Hunting is a great magazine for all outdoor enthusiast, ranging from small game to the majestic elk.  The magazine is very imformative about techniques and strategies on being successful in the field.  The only thing I would like to see more of is information about the midwest, (only because i live there).

I would recommend this magazine to everyone.
