I didn't know that such a fine publication on archaeology existed. Archaeology magazine has a great mixture of short updates on what is happening in the field of archaeology along with several longer articles that go more into detail, tying the research and field work to known historical events. Wonderful experience. I have received two months of the magazine so far, and I have literally read them cover to cover.

I have enjoyed reading the articles about a specific "dig sites."  I also appreciate the indivdual items that are pictured and identified by country or region of origin and date.

Archaeology is a great magazine.  I have found it to provide the lastest information in the world of Archaeology.  The articles are fact filled but easy to read. They provide vivid photographs to enhance the articles.  I would recommend this to anyone who loves this field of study.

I'm enjoying my subscription to Archaeology. It has lots of cool information, and I love that it doesn't just focus on western civilizations, but other places of interest, too. My only caveat: you need to have lots of free time to read it. So many interesting stories, so little time. The good thing is that many of the stories are snippets. The pictures are good, too.
