The magazine is perfect for me. I like to understand the science behind good cooking. The only down side is that I'm leaning more and more towards following the rules instead of just winging it.

What a wonderful way to learn how to cook!

I love Cook's Illustrated, they give the reader so much extra information which is extremely helpful. I'm recommending it to many young women planning to be married. Thank you.

If you are looking for a magazine with lots of pictures, look elsewhere.

This isn't a bad magazine at all, but then again this is not your everyday magazine with lots of great colorful pictures.  This magazine reads more like a book than a magazine.  I love the PBS show America's Test Kitchen, so I thought I would read and see great food pictures, but nothing!  I wished the quality of the paper used in the magazine was better and more color pictures instead of black and white ones.  That's all.
