Each month I get a mental workout from this publication, a stimulating massage of my frontal lobes. The Fast Company editors and reporters deserve kudos for keeping pace with a dizzying modern business and cultural world--and doing it often with insight, just as often with a laugh or two.

Recent coverage of the Steve Jobs World, the insights into the problem-embracing culture at Toyota are two superb examples of how they give me fresh new ways of looking at important topics.

There are times when the Fast Company style can be exhausting, simply because they reflect the frenetic pace of the technology, information and emerging business worlds. It shouldn't be seen as a condemnation as much as validation that they match the material in honest reflection of the issues at hand.
