As a newcomer to Jacksonville, I looked to the magazine to give me a better understanding of the issues and concerns of various constituencies in the city...where the tensions might be and what possible solutions are being explored. 

Where is economic development focused and what are its goals?  Can it only be counted in the number of jobs provided...with the big companies who relocate exactly how many jobs are actuallly created when personnel relocate with the company?  What is the multiplier effect when a new company comes to town...etc. 

Tell us about start up businesses that succeeded and why

On the other hand, I hoped to find a more balanced view of restaurants...the good, the promising and those too tired to provide an interesting meal. 

Since December when we moved here, I have been to a number of cultural events such as the symphony, that are far from sold out...even exceptional talent like Michael Feinstein...why?  and would these cultural events benefit from a half price ticket vendor gathering tickets 24hrs before the performance to sell.   

Well, these are just some of the areas I would like to see covered im more depth...perhaps I just need to read more issues and I will become more enlightened.
