I like a magazine that has a variety of articles and not just all politics which I find in other magazines I receive.   I was very pleased with the variety Newsweek has to offer and I would renew it again.

 For the last 30 years we were getting Time magazine.

I read a copy of Newsweek in a doctor's waiting room so I decided to change.

Both magazines are good...but sometimes change is nice.  This was one of those times.

Newsweek articles are so biased toward the political left that they are worthless as a source of impartial information.  Instead of wasting money on this rag, just go on the internet and read editorials of The New York Times or The Washington Post.  You'll get the same slanted viewpoints, but they are free.  No wonder that the magazine's operations can't break even, and the business was recently sold for just $1.

It is a very good source of political events in world.

From my point of view this magazine has concentrated around four very impotant topics:

(a) Presidential compagn in USA

(b) Social events in the World

(c) Individuals whose activity has an important social role.

(d) US and Global Economical Processes.

Newsweek used to be my all time favorite news magazine, but I let the subscription lapse and had not read it for several years. I took advantage of the offer, but I'm really not that happy with the revamped format. I would like to be specific, but I just feel that the reporting is not as good as it was several years ago. A rival news magazine is more readable now.
