A pleasure to look through
 

A great magazine for pointers on preparing food, ideas, visual to get you moving, etc. Even though I don't spend much time to prepare for our meals anymore (I am 84), I do use some of the more simple recipes and get ideas on herbs to use to add so much to a recipe.

Good food magazine.
 

Got my first issue of Food and Wine. I had requested it because I enjoy their online news letters and recipes and like their travel information. Their format is easy on the eyes and the recipes are easily understood and dont hsve too many steps. I also receive Saveur, Cooking Light and Vegetarian Times. Saveur is good but the recipes seem complicated, Cooking Light is good but not too exciting. Both Saveur and Cooking Light focus too much on meat and chicken recipes. My first issue of Food and Wine focused too much on meat, so it was not helpful to me but I will give it a chance, as I do like the way they report on food, food in other countries and most of their recipes. I think between Vegetarian Times and Food and Wine I have everything covered from vegetarian dishes, to fish or chicken and food travel information.
